ELDRIDGE PARK ORNAMENTS - 2009

As of November 7, 2009, the Christmas House has the new ornaments available to benefit the Eldridge Park Carousel Preservation Society. Representatives from the Eldridge Park Carousel Preservation Society were on hand at the Christmas House in Elmira on Nov. 7, from 12Noon - 2pm, with Dr. Bob Lyon, who was there to sign his new book, "The Legend of Owenah and Newamee.”

This year’s ornaments are:

  • A new 3-D Carousel Christmas ornament featuring a glimpse of the inner row of the carousel animals includes Bashful, the Honey Bear; Zoe, the Zebra; Grace, the Swan; Alec, the Greyhound; and Gruff the Goat. These ornaments are gold finished brass, are made in Vermont, and have "Eldridge Park Carousel, Elmira-NY" stamped on the bottom. They are $30.00 each or two for $25.00
  • A Christmas Ornament (flat painted brass like the ones done in past years) of Otha:yo;nih, the Wolf, is packaged with the Mary Lyon's “Whispers in the Woods” (written in 2006 for the newly refurbished Eldridge Park) and a keepsake magnet. The triple package is available at $19.95.
