his Parker-style jumper horse carved by the late Dave Albrecht of Minnesota has been masterfully restored by Frank Messina, our V.P. of Artistic Interpretation. The horse was only in primer to begin with. While working on this beautiful horse one day in the carousel workshop, Bob's father, Garnet Lyon I, came over to see the progress. Mary, the kids and Bob were not home at the time, so Frank and Bob's dad visited for quite awhile. Garnet exclaimed about how lovely the horse was… so it was Frank’s suggestion that this horse be named in honor of Bob Lyon's best friend and father… and so it is.
