MICHAEL
by Sharon O'Buckley (mom)

had just turned 17 when he was taken from us. He was full
of life, love
and
many plans for his future with his true love, Amber.
And he loved Track, baseball
and football. His team was the Yankees, and he never missed
a game.
His goal in life was to join
the Marines to get training in law enforcement with the
vision of becoming a State Trooper and ultimately an FBI
agent.
He and Amber were going to
buy the house down the street to start their family and
eventually take over the house where he grew up. Amber
planned to go to college to become a nurse and work at
one of the area hospitals.
No
one ever doubted that Michael would reach his goals
When one of his teammates tragically
died, he talked of the waste and his wish when his time
came to become an organ and tissue donor. The thought
of being in a box underground was totally abhorrent to
him. " Use what you can and cremate the rest."
Who knew that day was so close
at hand?
By Michael becoming a Donor,
I have met the most outstanding people in the world, both
Donors and Recipients. My wish is to honor all donors
and to provide a peaceful place to go and remember their
lives. To remember what heroes they are and to remind
everyone of the good they can do, even after death.
