Sugar Candy is one of our inside horses and was created by Oscar Pivaral who began his career in carousel sculpting in San Francisco in 1979.

At the left, you see a photo of Frank Messina painting "Sugar's" mouth, teeth and tongue. We opted to cosmetically enhance the detail of the mouth, tongue and teeth as they were originally a natural wood stain.
