Completed Ticket Booth

agle Scout project #2 has been completed! Bob Lyon's son, Graham Lyon, along with many scouts and adult helpers, has recreated the historic carousel ticket booth. Slightly larger and much more ornate, the booth has been chosen as a naming right by Chemung Canal Trust Company. Thanks to this philanthropic Graham Lyon, Jan UpDegraf, Jim Pryslak, Bob Lyonorganization, we thrust forward in our efforts to raise $750,000. Jim Pryslak, of Pryslak Design Inc., is responsible for the Chemung Canal logo shield which has been affixed to the front of the ticket booth. This sign will forever remind all who frequent the Park, of how dedicated this lending institution is to its’ community. On October 29th the ticket booth was unveiled by Chemung Canal’s CEO, Jan UpDegraf, Jim Pryslak and Graham Lyon at the carousel building before the excited onlookers. The event was tastefully covered by WETM, WENY and newspaper reporters from Binghamton, Sayre, Corning and Elmira. As always, we are forever grateful to the press as they bring about positive project awareness.
