From an
e-mail from George Siessel: I have attached scans of the roller
coaster from 1978, which was the first time I visited the park. I
rode the Speedway and took these shots (one which was on the
ride). The weather was horrible that day and you can tell by how dark
the images are. They were working on the ride replacing lumber and
Mr. Long was kind enough to allow us to ride the coaster while the
workmen took a break.
